About groovedeploy
What it is
Groovedeploy is a self-hosted PaaS for one VPS. Deploy apps, databases, and shared services through a tRPC API, an MCP server, and a SvelteKit dashboard. AI agents are equal clients of the same API as the UI.
Why we built it
Hosted PaaS lock you in and bill by the hour. Kubernetes is overkill for a single-VPS workload. Existing self-host tools ignore AI agents. Groovedeploy fits between those gaps: small enough to run on one machine, agent-native from day one, and self-hosted so the data stays yours.
How it compares
Groovedeploy is younger and feature-poorer than Coolify or Dokploy. It does have things they don't:
